API Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst to cover additional capacity and API knowledge gaps on an existing team.

Description

• Facilitate daily/weekly meetings in the Agile framework with Engineering teams and business stakeholders

• Gather requirements and write PBIs from business on service tickets, bugs, and defects

• Represent the business by defining feature requirements, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring relevant teams clearly understand what is being delivered, and why

• Maintain sprints and associated activities in ADO

• Collaborate with product owners and SMEs across the group to identify dependencies, mitigate roadblocks, and ensure the timely release of features

• Coordinate testing for business members related to team backlog

• Coordinate end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT) as required

Skills Needed

• Previous experience with APIs (Writing Requirements, Digital Transformation) preferred

• Previous experience working in an Agile environment preferred

• Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops a plus

• Previous project management experience a plus

• Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements and/or previous experience working in the Financing industry is a plus
