10+ of overall IT experience with at least 7+ years as an API Architect with a focus on diverse API management platforms.
Candidate must be able to define solutions for API based integration.
Experienced in leading and guiding the team in developing solutions that fully integrate and collaborate with existing IT systems to solve complex business solutions.
Strong experience working on Hybrid cloud environment with one of the cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google preferred).
Candidate should have a holistic view of enterprise solutions, taking into consideration operational costs, security, performance engineering, application development, and systems management.
Additional Requirement
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in API management platforms and API related activities: requirement analysis, solution architecture, and design, resource-based API modeling, micro-services architecture.
Knowledge about API design standards, patterns, and best practices.
Experience with SOAP, REST web services, integration technologies like ESB (Mulesoft, WSO2, IBM ESB, Oracle ESB).
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in API security standards and implementation (Oauth, OpenId).
Expert-level knowledge and experience applying current and emerging technology integration solutions and trends including security and regulatory industry requirements.
Expert-level ability to understand overall IT strategy and apply/implement IT strategy in assigned projects/initiatives.
Demonstrated decision-making skills related to implementing integration architecture and design.
Extensive knowledge of integration files formats and canonical structures, transmission protocols and transformation technologies.
Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies.
Knowledge of development practices of integration technologies (ie. Apigee, API Connect, DataPower, Dell Boomi, Mule) is a plus.

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: * Engaging with technology specialists, development staff, and technology team leadership; * Communicating to team leadership, business sponsors, and quality review groups to effectively and efficiently explain software development principles tempered by an understanding of business and risk management; * Developing strategies and road maps to guide software framework and API usage within the Center of Enablement; * Leading a team of technologists to execute the API strategy and eliminate friction from the integration process; * Working with development teams, compliance & legal teams, and security teams to establish software development frameworks and APIs adhere to standards; * Developing and maintaining metrics that demonstrate progress; * Demonstrating experience working with the one or more of the following software development languages or frameworks including Angular, React, .NET Standard & ASP.NET Core, Node, Python, and R.; and, * Demonstrating experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, Identity and Access Management solutions using JSON Web Tokens or OAUTH, Swagger, Azure API Management, and Layer 7 API Management.
