Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a global renewable energy company who is seeking an AP Staff Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. Details below!Job Title: AP Staff Accountant
Location: Hybrid - Arlington, VA (on-site 4 days a week)
Salary: $65,000 per year
Job Type: PermanentResponsibilities:
Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Verify invoices, ensure appropriate approvals, and resolve discrepancies.
Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries.
Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and related documentation.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.Requirements:
1-2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance highly preferred.
Proficiency with accounting software (Oracle Fusion experience is a plus but not required).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
