JOB SUMMARY:
FORTNA is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. This position will help maintain our current Accounts Payable Functions. This position should have accounts payable experience in both project, and manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
High volume invoice data entry using Quickbooks, Billquick, and ERP System Infor LN (Manual cost invoices project related, PO Match, and SG&A)
Identify and code project accounts
Trouble shoot various supplier inquiries & discrepancies
Work with internal departments on coding inquiries
Knowledge of sales tax exempt vs. taxable items on invoices
Sending clear and concise emails; reading emails thoroughly to fully comprehend what is needed
Perform miscellaneous accounts payable projects
Ability to consistently meet deadlines under pressure
AP Shared Service Experience
Work independently and as a team
Review invoices for approvals and required supplier lien waivers
ERP Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree in accounting preferred, but not mandatory
Experience with ERP systems
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office including Work, Excel, and Outlook.
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Strong problem-solving skills
3+ years Accounts Payable experience, manufacturing industry preferred
The base pay range for this role is 20.34/hr to 30.43/hr. This base pay range represents the low and high end of the base pay range for this position. Actual base pay offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance."
