Summary of Position
Under direct supervision, perform duties to process Accounts Payable functions within a Shared Services environment.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Process expense invoices and check requests for payment ensuring accuracy, appropriate approvals, resolving discrepancies, and entering data into JDE.
Process inventory invoices ensuring receipts and Purchase Orders are accurate.
Answer phones and resolve vendor inquires.
Process void checks and stop payments.
Review and approve employee expense reports for policy compliance through third party vendor Concur.
Research and resolve unvouchered receipts more than six months old.
Analyze/review vendor statements for outstanding invoices and open credits. Request check refunds on credit balances.
Work with Purchasing, Receiving, and all other employees to resolve invoice discrepancies.
Work with treasury to process wire transfers.
Assist in training new employees.
Liaison between vendor and employee issues.
Perform other duties, assignments, and special projects as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree a plus
2 Years Accounts Payable experience
Good communication skills; both written and verbal
Basic Accounting experience; completion of accounting courses a plus.
Ability to work with Excel
