Accounting Clerk

Our client, a known manufacturer in the Greensboro area, is searching for an Accounting Clerk. This client is known for fostering a great environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. This role is responsible for maintaining accounts payable and receivable while entering journal entries and completing reconciliations.

Opportunity:

• On-site in Greensboro, NC

• $40,000

Responsibilities:

• Maintain administrative duties such as answering phone calls and greeting visitors while monitoring stock of office, updating, and maintaining vendor and customer information, and collecting mail.

• Process accounts payable while collecting reports, compiling weekly reports, preparing and posting checks, and processing intercompany invoices for shipments.

• Maintain accounts receivable while matching shipments to orders, verifying taxes, processing credit card transactions, and generating bank reports.

• Assist in month end closing; Notify clients of deadlines, generate intercompany management fees, reconcile accounts, and generate analysis of sales.

• Generate commission monthly while submitting for approval and creating payable vouchers for employees.

• Generate 1099 forms, enter new fixed assets, and bill back previously approved defects charges.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Accounting.

• 2+ years of experience in AP, AR, Journal Entries, and Reconciliations.

• Proficiency in Excel.
