CACI International Inc. has an immediate opening for a Master/Project Scheduler located in Ft. Belvoir, VA.

What You'll Get to Do:

Join CACI in supporting the U.S. Army Chief Information Office (CIO)/G-6 to lead the Army's network modernization to deliver timely, trusted, and shared information for the Army and its mission partners.

More About the Role:

The Project Scheduler will assist the Master Scheduler in the development and implementation of schedules to support company projects. Perform Program Planning and Scheduling tasks for the organization. The Project Scheduler will support a diverse group of senior managers, architects, analysts and functional personnel in the development of program plans and schedules. As a team member supporting AONS CIO/G-6, you will provide technical services to include planning, program, budget, and analytical services to aid in resourcing critical Army command, control, communications, computers (C4) and IT needs. You will also provide recommendations for how the CIO/G-6 can synchronize technology and business management to enable better execution, risk control, and efficiencies for the Army.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate project planning: prioritize tasks, set deadlines and manage deliverables

  • Analyze schedule information with the project teams and stakeholders weekly

  • Generate program plans & schedules from the earliest stages of program development through program execution

  • Solid skills in analysis and reasoning, good interpersonal, communication and time management skills.

  • Proven ability to develop solutions to complex problems and support the development and deployment of new techniques and tools.

  • Prepare and coordinate plans and schedules for new and/or existing projects. Analyze effects of projects within the overall schedule and determine efficient methods to solve conflicts.

  • Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • Must have minimum active DOD Secret Clearance

  • Minimum 2 years related experience in MS Project or Primavera

  • Has the ability to work well with others

  • Degreed individual preferred, but applicable experience with financial, project management disciplines and practices will be considered

  • Ability to clearly convey information and ideas verbally to both employees and customers.

  • Computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications.

  • Must be a self-starter and able to effectively perform independently.

  • Good organizational skills and ability to effectively coordinate multiple activities.

  • Solid knowledge of MS Project; scheduling theory, techniques and methodologies; project management principles.

  • Working knowledge of critical path and other schedule risk/opportunity analysis techniques.

  • Good presentation, communication, and analytical skills.

More About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: * Provide analytic and technical services in the development, coordination and oversight of CS/IA and Information Technology (IT) strategy, policy, and plans for Army Special Programs/SA and related activities, services, and programs. * Support the development of the organizational vision, mission, goals, objectives, and strategies and development of appropriate metrics and strategies for implementing the strategic plan. * Maintain working relationships and communication with Joint, DoD and Army Special Programs/SA agencies, as well as outside agencies (e.g., National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Director of National Intelligence (DNI)) in CS/IA and IT matters affecting the Army Special Programs/SA community. * Coordinate tasks for Special Programs Information Technology (IT) involving several agencies, requiring multiple site visits, attending/participating in conferences and performing CS/IA site assistance and assessment visits. * Review and provide comments on all Special Programs/SA CS/IA-related policies and instructions issued by Army and DOD agencies, including the Army Special Programs Directorate (ASPD). * Develop and publish Special Programs/SA CS/IA and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) policy for implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) IAW the requirements of the joint DoD/DNI Joint SAP Cybersecurity (JSCS) Working Group. * Identify Army Special Programs/SA CS/IA process gaps and provide recommendations for alternatives and design and implementation of new processes to improve Army Special Programs/SA CS/IA management IAW Army and industry best practices. * Conduct strategic research and develop presentations, point papers and other materials to identify strategic initiatives, alternative approaches to current business practices, and processes (and process changes) for supporting future Special Program requirements. * Develop white papers and position papers to document Army Special Programs/SA CS/IA and IT concerns, impacts, changes to infrastructure and support responsibilities, and rationale for programmatic recommendations. * Represent the HQDA SAP/SA Delegated Authorizing Official (DAO) at designated meetings/conferences and participate in DoD and Army CS/IA working groups in order to ensure consistency and reciprocity of the Special Programs/SA CS/IA processes. * Provide verification and assistance services as related to CIO/G-6, Special Programs DAO, CS/IA requirements for Army Special Programs and their related contractor support. * Execute Security Control assessments at Army Special Program/SA program sites as an integral part of the Blue Team for the purpose of identifying compliance requirements and providing actionable recommendations. This includes the execution of complex technical reviews using manual methods and automated tools, implementation of specialized tools for automated file transfers and content reviews and the development of associated training, vulnerability, scans, and systems Cyber Security testing. * Conduct CS/IA Staff Assistance Visits within the Army Special Programs/SA community to identify and provide recommendations for remediation of CS/IA issues, as well as issues in other Information Technology functional areas. * Provide those services considered essential to protecting, defending, and sustaining the Army's Special Programs/SA computing environment, in addition to ensuring appropriate response actions are initiated and managed. * Utilize the Blue Team concept and conduct site visits to various Special Programs facilities (SAPF) to provide CS/IA advice, assistance and verification services as directed by the CIO/G-6 Special Programs DAO designed to support the security posture of supported organizations. These visits will provide customized CS/IA support for each Special Programs / Sensitive Activity. * Evaluate new technologies to support CS/IA requirements for use in Army Special Programs/SA environments and provide recommendations for their implementation. * Provide and facilitate technical information exchange with the DoD and other service Special Programs/SAs, Army Special Programs/SAs, ASPD, the Security Control Assessor (SCA), and other stakeholders as directed. * Oversee and ensure the currency and accuracy of A&A of all Army Special Programs/SA Automated Information Systems (AIS), ensuring compliance with the Clinger-Cohen Act and DoD requirements for acquisition and operational systems, and conducting Army and Joint interoperability compliance assessments. * Demonstrate understanding and provide past performance experience with the specific requirements of Special Programs/SA A&A throughout all phases of the process. Based on knowledge of the security controls assessment/authorization processes, support Army Special Programs/SA programs in the identification of process streamlining and adjustments to achieve commitments in a timely manner. * Develop and deliver tailored CS/IA training to the Army Special Programs/SA programs as required. Training shall be developed and delivered in a variety of mediums, to include on-site, CBT, and just-in-time training. * Deliver expertise in the resolution of Special Program spillage incidents involving IT and provide on-site assistance in the resolution and reporting of computer security incidents, as needed. * Support the compliance of Special Program/SA AIS with Army and DOD requirements under the FISMA. * Assist with both technical policy reviews regarding new sensitive acquisition, emerging technologies, and operational requirements. * Provide input on Special Programs/SA CS/IA initiatives and technology requirements in support of Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) flag-level reviews, ensuring that SAP Community Continuity of Operations (COOP) requirements are in place, and shall conduct assessment/evaluations of new technologies being considered for implementation by SAP personnel. * Support coordination and execution of all Army Special Program/SA CS/IA Conferences.Provide technical services to select Army Programs (located in Pentagon and Fort Belvoir, regular business hours). * Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the currency and accuracy of A&A of certain HQDA Automated Information Systems (AIS).Perform the day-to-day operations of the stand- alone networks providing Cyber Security and IT support for all program personnel.
