Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities for students with disabilities.

• Demonstrated knowledge of subject matter.

• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.

Certification Requirements:

• Holds or is eligible for the NJDOE Students with Disabilities certification with NJDOE endorsements in Language Arts/Literacy Specialization in Grades 5-8 certification or the Mathematics Specialization in Grades 5-8 certification.
• OR must hold the Teacher of the Handicapped certification.
