Description:

Hunterdon Central Regional School District is accepting applications for a Social Studies long-term substitute teacher. The selected teacher will: Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and provide individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil; Set specific objectives wherever possible in lesson preparation and weekly lesson plans and carry through presentation to effectively achieve these objectives; Plan class activities and lesson presentations that are age-appropriate for the class and meet the individual needs, interests and ability levels of all pupils.

Requirements:

• New Jersey Social Studies CE, CEAS, or Standard certificate

• Ability to integrate technology in the classroom

• Ability to work in a highly collaborative student centered environment.

• Demonstrates knowledge of NJSLS, curricular mandates and best practices for teaching and learning
