Description: Anticipated School Social Worker

Job Summary: Responsible for a range of support services including assessing the needs of students, providing appropriate social work services, monitoring student performance, counseling sessions, referral, intervention and consulting with the instructional staff to assist them in providing strategies for student social and personal growth, and coordinating services for and communications with a student's family and other social service resources.

Qualifications: School Social Worker Certification; Experience in K-12 education and SEL planning a plus.

Working Conditions: Elementary Level 10-month position

Salary: As per HBOE/HEA Agreement; this position is 50% funded by the School-Based Mental Health Training Grant.
