Anticipated Openings - Elementary Teachers (Gr. Prek-6)

Dedham Public Schools are looking for talented educators to fill multiple anticipated positions for the 2023-2024 school year.

Candidates must hold a Massachusetts Elementary and/or Early Childhood Teacher License. Dual certifications and prior classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilites include:
plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences through the District curriculum
establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
use relevant technology to support instruction
observe and evaluate student performance and development
provide appropriate feedback on work
encourage and monitor the progress of individual students
maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and development
prepare required reports on students and activities
manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
participate in department and school meetings, parent meetings
communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs
collaborate with special education and general education support staff
