The Delran Township School District is accepting applications for the secretary to the Assistant Principal at Delran Intermediate School. The ideal candidate should be able to perform well under pressure, be thorough, detail-oriented and organized. Qualified applicants should possess:

• High School Diploma and 3-5 years secretarial experience, preferably in public school education

• Strong computer skills including excellent knowledge of Google Apps for Education and Microsoft Office

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with both adults and students

• Demonstrated professional competence and experience in maintaining confidentiality and handling of sensitive information

• Special consideration given to applicants with:

• Knowledge of Realtime Student Information System

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide secretarial support to the Assistant Principal at Delran Intermediate School.

• Coordinate and process purchase orders/requisitions

• Coordinate Title I and Title III schedules, enrollment and correspondence.

• Maintain student records and assist with student enrollment, student transfers.

• Other duties and tasks assigned by assistant principal and principal.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

• Salary commensurate with experience plus full medical, dental and prescription coverage including spouse and family coverage

• Enrollment in State of NJ (PERS) Retirement System

• Vacation, accumulating sick time and personal days

• Summer hours from July-August (4-day work week)
