Anticipated Opening - 2024-2025 School Year - Teacher Of Technology Education/Aviation Teacher - Tenure Track Eligible

ANTICIPATED OPENING - 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR - TEACHER OF TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION/AVIATION TEACHER - TENURE TRACK ELIGIBLE

Seeking a candidate capable of teaching Engineering as well as Aviation. This is an opportunity for the right individual to become part of our Aviation and STEM programs, with pathways to prepare our students for drone licensed certification through Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) curriculum and STEM related fields.

We are seeking a candidate capable of both assisting in developing our Aviation Academy and working closely to mentor and advise students in the exciting careers that are just now being invented. Aviation experience, including a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI), and familiarity with part 141 training curriculum, preferred.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS POSITION:

• Must hold a valid NJ Teaching Certificate in Technology Education
• NJ Teaching Certificate in Physics preferred
• CFI (Certified Flight Instructor Certificate) and familiarity with FAA part 141 training curriculum

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 month position, tenure track
