Anticipated Opening For Elementary Music Teacher

Halifax Elementary School (K-8) has an immediate opening for a Music teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a part-time position .2 (1 day a week). The successful candidate will be bing a love of music, and music expression to a small rural community school.

They will be a flexible thinker, an expert collaborator, and a possessor of a positive attitude. Music education is important to our community and we believe that music education adds to the success of a robust elementary program

The Music teacher is required to provide music instruction to elementary and middle school students, with the aim of creating an interest in the subject amongst pupils. The Music teacher will assist students in expressing themselves through the medium of music and related subjects.
