Long Term Substitute - Elementary Music Teacher

The ConVal School District is seeking an energetic individual to plan and carry out an effective long-term substitute music education teaching environment that will maximize learning for all students and contribute to their development as confident, competent, and creative learners.

Duties and Responsibilities

Plan, communicate and carry out effective music instruction to maximize learning for all students

Plan general music classroom instruction for students in grades K-4.

Create and maintain an effective environment for learning that engages all students in purposeful learning activities and encourages constructive interactions among students.

Establish and maintain standards for student behavior, managing routines, transitions, and instructional time effectively.

Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with parents and staff.

Attend staff meetings.

Participate as an active member at schools including extra duties as assigned.
