ANTICIPATED HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The Human Resources Department of Dover Public Schools is seeking to fill an anticipated administrative assistant position to assist with effectively and efficiently managing the Human Resources Department.

Interested Applicants should possess the following:

Qualifications

Minimum of an Associate's Degree required

Comparable work experience may be considered to substitute for the degree requirement

Excellent computer skills, with experience with both the Google platform and Word

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Interested Applicants will be expected to perform the following duties, but not limited to:

Assisting with non certificated employee onboarding and offboarding process

Assisting with non certificated employee attendance

Assisting with preparing the Personnel Section of the Board agenda

Completing vouchers and purchase orders for all personnel concerns

Assisting with maintaining personnel files and other district files

Processing unemployment claims as they are received and verify quarterly billing for accuracy prior to submitting to the payroll office for payment
