Anticipated: BORDENTOWN REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DIRECTOR OF BANDS

Full time Tenure Track

Qualifications

New Jersey Teacher of Music Certification or Certificate of Eligibility Required

Experience with Marching band and Jazz studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages the overall program of high school band, and coordinates with colleagues to grow the membership of the band program for the district.

• Directs, writes drill, recruits for and manages Summer-Fall marching band football performance and competition season.

• Directs high school instrumental performances including, concert band, jazz band, soloists, pit orchestra for the Spring Musical, competitions, and ensembles.

• Plans and oversee band trips and tours.

• Supports band booster club activities.

• Cooperates with the school administration in providing music programs for pep rallies,

• in-school programs, graduation ceremonies, and, as appropriate, civic functions that enhance the students' performing experience

Start Date: Band Camp

• August, 2024 School Year: September 1, 2024

Salary: As per negotiated agreement
