Partners closely with the Experience Owner to develop and drive the journey vision and strategy. Defines the roadmap for the journey's target state and leads the agile journey team to achieve this target-state solution. Responsible for defining and prioritizing the journey backlog to deliver on business vision and priorities. Provides constant feedback to the agile teams and helps the teams follow a vision. Responsible for ensuring the Journey team is aligned with project requirements they are accountable for. The Journey Owner must have a well-developed understanding of customer needs aligned with business objectives and build close relationships with key stakeholders to define the business strategy for the journey.

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Eight to 10 years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant domains, products, and journeys

  • Recognized as an expert in assigned Journey area

  • Ability to collaborate and indirectly influence others

  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Employs product management practices and tactics to define new ideas including problem statements, customer research and interviews, market research and creation of objectives and key results. Collaborates with development team to discover solutions including ideation, prototyping, story mapping and client validation. Maintains and refines product backlog; creates user stories and acceptance criteria and prioritizes all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum business value that align with product strategy. Acts as primary liaison between the business and Journey team, ensuring the team understands vision for the products, addressing daily prioritization needs, providing real-time feedback and answering questions on an ongoing basis. Works with Product Management to determine the minimum viable product (MVP) and additional release iterations. Responsibilities include: * Delivery activities such as agile ceremonies, backlog management (creating new user stories, refinement, prioritization), testing/validation of solutions  * Definition activities for new Ideas including Problem Statements, client interviews, research, OKRs * Discovery activities including collaboration on ideation, prototyping, story mapping and client validation Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience * Three to five years of experience in Information Technology environment * Standard industry certifications such as SAFe Agile Product Owner Preferred Skills/Experience * Experience in Treasury Management strongly preferred * Experience with emerging real time payments in the b2b, b2c and c2c sector * Well-developed ability to collaboratively develop and evolve a product backlog * Well-developed ability to develop and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value and prioritization of work * Thorough understanding of the Lean/Agile mindset * Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate with and empower teams * Well-developed verbal and written communication skills US Bank Atlanta GA
