Associate Designer Home Textiles

Senior Designer - Home Textiles

Overview

The Associate Designer will contribute to the creation, development, and execution of own brand product appropriate for the Anthropologie customer.

Responsibilities

  • Complete detailed design briefs for all new product development.

  • Initiate and complete line plan requirements on a seasonal basis.

  • Research and present to Sr Designer and Creative Director new ideas for each season.

  • Prep and present concepts with Design team to Buying and Production teams each season.

  • Source Globally & Domestically and shop raw materials to develop.

  • Chase product closer to season.

  • Communicate regularly to Production team and Vendors.

  • Attend follow-up meetings for all products and manage workload accordingly.

  • Communicate regularly with Buying, Coordinating & Production teams.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding taste level and sense of home and overall design trends.

  • Ability to work really well within a team to create the best product that is focused on our customer.

  • Ability to respond to business objectives with creative and innovative

design solutions.

  • Ability to successfully manage workload efficiently

  • Good technical knowledge of lighting for retail customers.

  • Natural ability to draw and sketch.

  • Strong Computer skills: Photoshop and Illustrator

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Responsibilities and Description of Role: Delivery Specialist is responsible for loading/unloading and delivering MiniBulk and Bulk chemicals as dispatched in the safest and most efficient manner. Delivery Specialist will report to the Operations Supervisor. Experience Required: * Class A equivalent driving experience on a full-time work basis in liquid transport. * Have previous experience hauling tankers of hazardous chemicals a must and hold current hazardous material and tanker endorsements as required by law. * Demonstrate the ability to work with corrosive chemicals. * Agree to fully cooperate with the training program for chemical handling and safety. * Agree to train to the OSHA Hazmat Emergency Responder Technician certification level and maintain annual certification. * Take a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Skills Required: * Knowledge and DOT regulations * Knowledge of OSHA regulations * Familiar with pneumatic pumps, mechanical aptitude preferred Education: High school diploma Univar is an equal opportunity employer.
