We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst of Performance Analytics in our Los Angeles office who will be the local client contact for site analytical requests.
The Senior Analyst will report into the broader Performance Analytics team, while having a dotted line into client account leadership. You will work with a highly collaborative group of strategists, digital experts, and creatives to get under the skin of campaigns and creative executions, define how performance should be measured and oversee the implementation and review of the resultant performance measurement plan. You will also work closely with the other Insights experts and fellow number crunchers.
The primary focus of this role is to support our testing and optimization efforts. Specifically, position responsibilities include developing tagging requirements, measuring results (including statistical significance), and compiling and presenting results to key stakeholders. This position has an emphasis on deep dive analyses, segmentation and slicing and dicing of the test results to distill actionable insights. This individual will leverage existing analytics and optimization tools and data points to formulate and refine test ideas and hypotheses, quantify results of the tests and make recommendations, based on test results, with the ultimate goal to identify revenue/profit-generating optimization opportunities and measure ROI of new features and functionality. They will design and build relevant reports, dashboards and templates.
The ideal candidate must have strong experience interpreting and analyzing complicated, disparate, large-scale data sets and visualizing findings in a way that conclusions and recommendations can be easily drawn. You have a passion to learn, test and validate all aspects of the customer experience. You will also act as the "voice of analytics" for subject matter expertise in digital measurement. In addition, you will also lead the dissemination and adoption of key proprietary and analytical capabilities across the broader agency team.
Perform analyses on A/B and multivariate tests, compile results and present them to stakeholders in a timely manner
Develop actionable digital consumer insights to enhance the digital customer experience and improve sales and conversion. Communicate insights and suggest improvements based on data and observed trends
Create, maintain, and deliver dashboards and reports for key stakeholders
Perform complex Ad Hoc queries, analyses, segmentation studies that combine multiple tools and data sources and types to extract insights from various A/B and multivariate tests
Enhance & develop tagging specs for the tests and new features built for these tests
Evolve and standardize test reporting and analysis approach and templates
Identify "low hanging" opportunities for analysis and testing on the site that increase conversion or drive revenue
Facilitate, promote, support the adoption of test-and-learn culture
Assist with reporting and Ad Hocs for other stakeholders and projects as needed
Support agency team in drafting scoping documents for all approved Roadmap projects
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Finance, Econometrics or Computer Science
Minimum 1-3 years of Web Analytics, SEO or online test analysis experience
Expertise in Web Analytics tools (Adobe SiteCatalyst & Discover; Google Analytics)
Experience with testing/optimization platforms (Optimizely, Maxymizer, Adobe Test & Target)
Site optimization projects exposure is a plus
Experience working with large data sets and databases is a plus
