We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys problem solving, and working together as a team, all in the spirit of helping our customers.

As an Annuity Technician Il, you will work with business partners and our customers to administer existing annuity contracts.

Here is an example of some responsibilities:

  • Process financial transactions, death claims, and service requests for existing annuity customers.

  • Work as a team to meet quality and timing goals.

  • Implement problem solving techniques to ensure accurate and efficient processing.

  • Identify and research unusual or complex situations and engage appropriate team members to resolve the request.

  • Prioritize and process daily work to meet customer service goals.

  • Share knowledge and information with team members to improve the overall effectiveness and development of the team.


  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred or requires high school diploma or equivalent, plus 2+ years related work experience i.e. customer service, financial service industry experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office.

  • An emphasis on customer service.

  • Strong organizational, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must have strong math and interpretation skills.

  • Must be professional, diligent, a team player and ability to multi-task and adapt to frequent change.

  • May need to become an Associated Person of Principal Financial Securities.
