Midland University, a private, Christian, liberal arts university in Fremont, Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha), is seeking an Annual Giving Officer. The Annual Giving Officer will manage all aspects of planning, implementation, and execution of the Annual Giving campaign in support of the overall mission of the University. The Annual Giving Officer will also serve as the steward for a portfolio of current and prospective donors, and will be expected to meet short-term and long-term goals within a leadership giving program.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate and manage new leadership giving program to engage donors giving $1,000-$10,000 annually

  • Develop strategies to effectively engage donors

  • Create engagement campaign utilizing multiple channels (phone, email, in-person, etc.)

  • Create detailed cultivation/solicitation plans to increase annual giving

  • Work with a team to identify, qualify and steward prospective major gift prospects

  • Participate in face-to-face solicitation in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Colorado when appropriate to evaluate, solicit, and steward prospective and current donors

  • Manage the strategic direction of the Annual Giving campaign

  • Develop strategies and tactics to effectively solicit all segments of Midland University constituency

  • Coordinate and manage a new Midland University Giving Day, and other crowd funding opportunities as appropriate

  • Report performance to key constituencies on a regular basis

  • Collaborate with offices across campus including, but not limited to Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, Business and Community Development, and Alumni Relations

  • General Responsibilities

  • Assist the Advancement Database Manager with data entry and record management as appropriate

  • Assist the Vice President and Major Gifts Officer with other programs and projects as needed

  • Support special events hosted by the Office of Institutional Advancement

  • Support donor relations activities such as game-day suites and tailgates

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required

  • 5 years of relevant experience in development and fundraising, annual fund experience preferred

  • CFRM or CFRE credential preferred

  • Experience with program building

  • Experience with solicitation across multiple platforms

Job Summary: Senior Reliability Technicians have the ability to troubleshoot various competencies: Advanced pneumatic, basic hydraulic, AC/DC electrical systems, automation (PLC and Instrumentation), automation, machining, and mechanical systems on all process and packaging equipment with minimal guidance. As part of a team, properly maintain and repair equipment in a fast paced, high production work environment, while prioritizing multiple mechanical/electrical and administrative tasks. Senior Reliability Technicians will be able to train junior technicians on technical and administrative skills. They will also be the main escalation point on shift to ensure issues are resolved quickly and planned work is completed or passed on to next shift. Position pays up to $34/hour based on experience. Key Accountabilities: * Practice safety and support team safety awareness * Assist with completion of team workload as scheduled * Ensure all information is entered into the CMMS to track utilization and feedback is given on all work completed during shift * Coordinate and prioritize assigned daily workload * Ensure major issues are recorded and communicated to upper management * Ensure issues and temporary repairs are escalated to Maintenance Leads and oncoming shift to ensure future plans to fully resolved are in process * Support team with positive motivation and team engagement * Mentor junior technicians on maintenance practices and all technical disciplines needed in order to be successful as a technician * Be the main point of contact for first escalations from operations to ensure these issues are resolved quickly * Suggest and work on continuous improvement initiatives to achieve zero losses due to equipment failures and technical issues * Participate in RCA on equipment and process failures to provide insight to failure and suggest corrective actions * Audit PMs and task lists, giving feedback on improvement ideas and ensuring all parts list are accurate * Give feedback to Maintenance Leads on scheduled work to ensure work is completed accurately and completely * Communicate effectively on shift and to the Technical team to ensure any support requests are filled * MIG and TIG welding ability for repairs * Ensure storeroom processes are followed correctly to ensure inventory is accurate * Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Leads and Technical Manager Key Lateral Responsibilties: * Maintenance Team * Operations Team * CVS and Engineering Project Teams * Quality Key Critical Competencies: * Ability to troubleshoot AC/DC Electrical components (up to 480VAC 3 Phase) including motor starters, switches and sensors found on all assigned equipment using basic test equipment such as multi-meters and amp probes * Possess a fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings in order to solve problems in a timely manner at the component level on all assigned equipment; i.e. sorting systems and palletizing robots * Willingness to develop required technical skills * Ability to train on technical skills applicable to role * Significant troubleshooting capability * Conflict management * PLC/Instrumentation troubleshooting skills * Ability to engage and work with vendors to complete projects * Food safety, ISO, HACCP, Food processing and materials conversion * Excellent technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills * Organizational and time management skills Safety: * Follow all safety procedures * Role model of safety execution Quality & Food Safety: * Utilizing knowledge of Q&FS systems.  The associate ensures Food Safety requirements are effectively performed.  This includes training of other associates on the Food Safety & Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), ensuring CCP monitoring is in effect and continuous improvement of the process with any changes to our working environment is practiced.
