We are currently recruiting for an energetic and caring professional to serve as our Animal Care Assistant for Inside the Outdoors (ITO) program. Our ITO School and Field Program is a unique hands-on environmental education program that provides Science Field Trips and Traveling Scientist programs for preschool to High School students.

Our Animal Care Assistant will be assigned to the Inside the Outdoors unit, under the Education Services Division. This position is located at our administrative office which is located in Costa Mesa. Our Animal Care Assistant provides assistance with cleaning animal cages, feeding, monitoring records, and exercising animals for the program.

Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications Any combination of education training, and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way of obtaining the knowledge and abilities would be: 1.

Experience handling, feeding, and cleaning a variety of animals. 2. Experience working in a veterinary setting. There are supplemental questions in the application.
