Emory Specialty Associates is currently seeking CRNA's and C-AA's for an Anesthetist Call Taker role at Emory Decatur Hospital. This position will involve a call matrix consisting of a combination of days, evenings, nights and weekends with notable incentives.
Cases Performed as part of a Care Team Model:
Assists in the administration of general and regional anesthesia to surgical and non-surgical procudure patients.
Varied case mix will include Vascular, General, Endo, ENT, GYN, Neuro, Ortho, Podiatry, Radiology, Urology, Labor Epidurals & C-Sections.

The Call Taker position will involve a call matrix consisting of a combination of days, evenings, nights and weekends with notable incentives.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of an Anesthesiologist, assists in the administration of general and regional anesthesia to surgical and non-surgical procedure patients.
Interprets and records patient's physiological and pharmacological status.
Provides continuity of care during the pre-op and post-op period.
Responds to life-threatening situations as required.
Assists in research projects and instructs others in principals and practices of Anesthesia, as directed by Anesthesiologist.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Anesthesia.
NBCRNA certification or Nat'l Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assts (NCCAA) and Nat'l Bd of Med Examiners (NBME).
Must maintain biannual certification through the submission of Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs)
Georgia licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist or Anesthesiologist Assistant.
