Rochester General Hospital DEPARTMENT: Anesthesia/OR SCHEDULE: D/E/N ATTRIBUTES Previous anesthesia experience preferred Excellent interpersonal and communications skills Strong attention to detail Compassionate and patient focused RESPONSIBILITIES Equipment Management.

Maintain all anesthesia equipment; manage quality control by recognizing malfunctioning equipment and taking necessary action; perform minor equipment repairs and preventive maintenance Procedure Assistance. Prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies for use; calibrate and check equipment accurately before each use; assist with procedures as assigned; stock anesthesia carts with extremely high-risk medications (may handle meds, sharps and syringes); maintain a clean, safe and adequately supplied workroom Maintains Ideal Working Operations. Contribute to maintenance of supply inventory, ensure there are adequate levels of available supplies and complete monthly pharmacy inspections.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. PAY RANGE: $17.50 - $19.40 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants.
