IVF Florida is seeking an experienced or entry-level Andrology lab technician for its rapidly growing IVF Program in South Florida. Must have a BS/BA in biological sciences with 2-5 years of Andrology Testing experience and eligibility to work in the US required.

General Responsibilities

  • Supervises, orients, and instructs laboratory personnel and assists in performance evaluations.

  • Consults with the Laboratory Director with personnel concerns or conflict.

  • Oversees all Andrology laboratory procedures and training.

  • Interviews all new Andrologists and junior support staff.

  • Aids in trouble shooting lab issues.

  • Attends laboratory meetings and implements new processes as necessary to improve performance.

  • Reviews with Laboratory Director day-to-day operations and outcomes.

  • Consults with manager prior to implementing new procedure or changing current ones.

  • Performs all Technical, Clinical, and Administrative duties as described in the Andrologists job description.

The ideal candidate is required to have a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, without exception. Medical background preferred. The candidate must be able to communicate accurately and concisely; both verbally and written.

VIEW JOBS 11/14/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-12T00:00 GENERAL RESPONSIBILTIES The Maintenance Supervisors duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: * Handle all aspects of maintenance for the community as directed by Property Manager. * Supervise a staff providing training, motivation, and performance feedback. * Monitor and direct scheduling of all maintenance personnel and vendors, and ensure staff adheres to company policies and procedures * Track inventory for repairs and maintenance * Responsible for turnover process * Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of all mechanical systems, service requests, and reporting of potential liability concerns or safety hazards * Assist with planning and execution of all preventative maintenance programs such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire and life-safety systems * Ensure the knowledge of, and enforcement of, company safety policies * Responsible for operating within the property budgetary guidelines * Other duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned * Supervise Maintenance Technician and his responsibilities (See Maintenance Technician job description). MATH ABILITY Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
