You'll focus on using data and information across PwC to drive change and improvements in data related operations to help enable the business as well as provide insights related to attendant risks.


As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Directors and above

  • Be involved in the financial management of clients

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients

  • Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team

  • Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria

  • Train, coach, and supervise team members

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brand

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:

  • Understanding and applying data extraction/transformation, analytics and visualization approaches; leveraging Business Intelligence software (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, etc.);

  • Displaying a curious and investigative mind towards data and analysis and storytelling;

  • Synthesizing data and demonstrating knowledge in advanced analytics and statistics;

  • Designing interactive visual interfaces and dashboards (Tableau, Qlikview, Microsoft Power BI);

  • Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while quickly adapting to changing priorities or roles;

  • Utilizing communication skills, including the ability to work with leaders and to facilitate/ instruct in large meeting settings;

  • Using a high degree of collaboration, ingenuity, and innovation to apply tools and techniques for application in business settings; and,

  • Managing a technical landscape to stay relevant to customers and competitive with the external environment.

The successful candidate will understand and interpret data, enabling supply chain decision making across this retail business to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. He/she will provide decision support and counsel by collecting, analyzing and interpreting data, as well as forecasting business trends to support the overall strategic and operating plans of Advance Auto Parts and its supply chain. This individual contributor will be an excellent collaborator with our partners in Merchandising, Inventory Planning, and Sales, as well as a critical thinker and great communicator (both written and verbal). Data-based decision making is key to this role. Responsibilities * Develop and manage initiatives and solutions to drive improvements in data and metrics visibility across the supply chain and AAP's end-to-end business. Optimize data flow. * Create, plan, and publish relevant supply chain metrics proposals for streamlining data flows developing scorecards efficiently * Perform return on investment (ROI) analysis to determine viability and priority of supply chain projects * Provide root cause driver analysis to support decision-making by effectively communicating and translating data and results into business insights and actions. Pareto key drivers for service promise misses. * Continuously work to create efficiencies and improvements within databases/procedures/scheduling processes * Partner with IT to move developed data capabilities to enterprise solutions as needed * Communicate and present recommendations to all levels of staff and management regarding detailed implementation plans for metrics and scorecards, including automation. * Evaluate, validate, and automate reports for operations management. Provide appropriate input into test design to ensure data integrity for investment decision purpose. * Work with all Distribution Center locations, corporate and cross functional teams to ensure process changes are successfully implemented. * Create documentation / Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all process work.
