Job Title: Analytics Project Manager, Decision Analytics
Location: US-NY-New York
Duration: Full-Time

Responsibilities:
Our client is entering into a project to conduct independent model validation for Risk and Marketing models across different banking verticals (credit cards, retail, mortgage, personal loan, etc.)
Person would be responsible for leading a portion of the delivery of this work stream from understanding current models, challenging assumptions and limitations and approving/declining the final output
Primary day-to-day contact with functional client and offshore team
Leads project teams of 2 - 4 consultants or more, and/ or Team Lead and Analysts in all aspects of project execution
Plays critical role in defining the problem, structuring the solution, and executing against it
Owns the execution of the project, with on time delivery every time, ensuring all project goals are met
Actively contributes to business development and to attracting, retaining, developing, and motivating a team of diverse and qualified staff
Update about project progress to senior leadership and clients and solicit feedback on project deliverables

Qualifications:
Masters or Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, economics, computer engineering or related analytics field from top-tier universities with strong record of achievement.
4+ years of experience comprising model development/ validation, analytics service delivery, consulting, solution design and client management
2+ years of experience in BFS industry
Experience in project management and business development
Experience and strong knowledge of different model development techniques: logistic, linear and time series regression
Demonstrable leadership ability, superior problem solving and people management skills
Excellent listening, written communication and presentation skills

The Sr. Manager, reporting into the Sr. Director, Marketing North America, will drive innovation in analytics, insights, and measurement through close alignment with corporate data science, digital marketing and analytics. She/He will anticipate and develop capabilities effectively to meet the accelerating demand for insights driven by our corporate digital roadmap. In addition, this role provides market intelligence to inform business strategy. Annually they will size our markets and develop forecasts for global market growth rates by segment. On a quarterly basis the Sr. Manager provides executive leadership with market growth updates, strategic competitive trends and significant customer/segment insights. This individual collaborates effectively across the marketing organization and with stakeholders across the business, especially RSD Strategy, Finance, Sales, Corporate Strategy and Executive Leadership. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Marketing Analytics * Develop tools and methods to derive actionable strategic insights from various data sources (e.g. transaction, web, etc.) * Build and deploy models to predict specific customer behaviors (i.e., propensity to buy, likelihood to attrite) * Measure effectiveness of omni-channel marketing initiatives and deliver KPIs via Microsoft Power BI and Tableau dashboards with focus areas including sales analysis, web analytics, paid media (Adwords, display, paid social, remarketing), and email * Develop enhanced metrics and reporting as needed to support Strategic, Digital and supplier marketing Market Intelligence: Analysis of Customer Segments and Competitors * Develop and lead a global market intelligence process on segments and competitors * Track and forecast market growth and identify key trends * Analyze size of RSD addressable global lab supplies market by region (North America, Europe, Asia, ROW), industry segment, and product category. Size new market segment growth opportunities. * Develop periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) market dynamics and insights to support key business processes * Coordinate input from regional market analysts in Asia and Europe, as well as Finance, Sales, and Corporate Strategy * Leverage technology to coordinate, maintain and share market insights Primary and Secondary Customer Research * Lead team that conducts primary customer research, including, but not limited to, surveys, focus groups and in-depth interviews.
