Job Title: Analytics Manager, Commercial Advocacy

Department: Finance; Commercial Advocacy

Reports To: Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics


This position has responsibility for assisting the Manager, Commercial Analytics in managing the tracking & analyzing performance, managing the A&P budget, and supporting the yearly planning process. This position will also assist in tracking and compiling market performance data and provide the Commercial Advocacy team with analytics to support annual reviews and ad hoc projects.

Analytics Responsibilities:

  • Lead all analytics

  • Manage, update and maintain monthly Activation Specialists tracker and Brand Ambassador tracker

  • Create, build and update analytical report that measures the commercial impact of Bar Smarts, BACON and other trade advocacy programs

  • Manage account changes 2x a year and ensure updated in OBI, RAD, and Lilypad

  • Menu tracking

  • Determine best way to track ROI on Commercial Advocacy Programs

  • Tracking of trends to determine programs performance

Data Responsibilities:

  • Lead all data pulling from OBI, RAD and Lilypad

  • Assist in the data and sales numbers needed for Quarterly Business Reviews

  • Update all PRUSA programs that track data for Commercial Advocacy programs

Finance Responsibilities:

  • Manage team finances on overall Commercial Advocacy program

  • Assist with monthly tracking of Activation Specialists and Brand Ambassador spending

Finance Responsibilities:

  • Ad hoc reports & analyses as required


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is required.

  • Minimum 1-3 years in accounting or financial analysis /planning experience. Brand planning /profitability analysis a plus. Understanding of P&L preparation and analysis of variances.

  • Ability to travel up to 5%

Principal Communications Associate - Strategy & Engagement - Commercial Credit Risk & Analytics Capital One's Strategy & Engagement team, housed within the Commercial Credit Risk and Analytics (CR&A) Division, is responsible for driving strategic priorities, leading people initiatives, running operations, and also serves as the Chief of Staff function for the Chief Commercial Credit Officer. The team's contribution is critical in strategy and analytics, evaluating external and internal data, associate engagement, and training. The team is seeking an associate to join the team and flex between both the engagement and analytics functions of the group. The associate will lead communications and change management activities for the organization, including internal communications and forums, leader speaking engagements, and operational transitions. In alignment with the operational activities the individual will oversee the department budget. Specific accountabilities include, but are not limited to: * Leading organizational communications, overseeing editorial calendar, and establishing success metrics and reporting for channels * Driving consistency and clarity in change management, with a particular focus on current initiatives, including Policy changes / updates, intranet shift * Overseeing monthly department financial results, ensuring our budget and forecast capture the most current estimation of expenses, leading strategic budgeting conversations, and partnering closely with the horizontal finance team to own the annual budgeting process * Developing deep relationships with key stakeholders including Senior Leadership Teams, associate base, and key partners * Securing external and internal speaking engagements for Senior Leaders * Crafting a compelling executive-level story from data insights taking multiple perspectives into account * Create opportunities for associate engagement, recognition, and partner with horizontal teams to publicize * Supporting and effectively communicating a position on credit, the markets, and risk * Formulating and implementing solutions, leveraging technology as much as possible The Person: The associate will be an instrumental player in the Strategy & Engagement team, supporting and learning from senior and junior members across the CR&A organization.
