Job Description

Analytical Test Designer l communicates effectively with Project Manager, Operational staff, and Analytical Test Designers to ensure that eLIMS-BPT Analytical Definition and Study builds are complete and accurate. Must have knowledge of understanding of technical aspects in order to review based off quotes, protocols and methods.

  • Perform work for both routine and non-routine work as specified by separate and applicable technical job description for individual

  • Develop and implement operational improvements

  • Communicates effectively with other staff members

  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner

  • Continually evaluate systems and processes to help improve overall productivity and quality

  • Perform and/or assign other duties as requested to ensure smooth operation of department

  • Perform all functions in support of and in compliance with all state and federal employment regulations

  • Able to interpret large amount of information accurately and quickly.

  • Leverage technical ability to read and understand material and method based requirements, as directed by methods and protocols.

  • Accurately interpret analytical methods/protocol/quote/budget in order to review builds and studies within eLIMS-BPT.

  • Responsible for reviewing builds within eLIMS-BPT that consist of defining the testing, specifications, calculations needed within eLIMS-BPT, how the results will be displayed on reports, identifying sample handling information, aliquot information, and regulatory status.

  • Responsible for eLIMS build review including but not limited to stability study and/or transactional builds

  • Lead communication with Project Managers and Operational staff to obtain all study information required for builds within eLIMS-BPT.

  • Able to review invoicing and billing information within eLIMS-BPT based off the quote and budget.

Qualifications

are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.

  • Learn and become efficient in eLIMS-BPT

  • Technical ability to read and understand quotes, methods, specifications and protocols to review eLIMS-BPT builds for accuracy

  • Be efficient communication with other staff including Project Managers, Operations Staff, and Analytical Test Designers.

  • Able to meet expected turnaround times on reviews to ensure work may proceed in the laboratory.

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related

degree concentration and at least 4 years of industry experience.

Additional Information

Position is a full time Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.
