Job Summary

Our corporate activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Analytical Chemistry Scientist to join our Bioanalytical Lab team. This position will work on a team to accomplish tasks and projects that are instrumental to the company's success.   • Develop and validate new assay methods;

  • Design protocols and create study reports; and

  • Supervise all phases of bioassays to support human pharmacokinetics and ADME studies.


  • Masters or PhD in Bioanalytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field;

  • Previous experience with large molecule bioanalysis;

  • Strong project management, compliance, communication, and people skills;

  • Hands on experience in bioanalysis that includes instrumentation (HPLC, LC/MS/MS and liquid scintillation counting techniques), chromatography, solution chemistry, extraction techniques, automation, etc.; and

  • Direct working experience in Good Laboratory Practices.

Major Responsibilities: * Directs team to ensure delivery operational excellence, world class service and efficiency which results in consistently delivering exceptional service experiences for our clients. * Ensure that regulatory compliance, data integrity, quality control, and client standards are met including but not limited to auditing test procedures, documentation, QA meetings regarding laboratory investigations, client follow up and corrective action. * Builds, develops and manages laboratory team and oversees associates regarding staffing needs, project management, training, professional growth, associate behavior, corrective action, succession planning, work scheduling, compensation administration and payroll submission. * Provide support for analytical testing, method validations, note booking, data entry, instrument and method troubleshooting. * Perform other essential tasks, projects, and responsibilities as required Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or other life science is required * Must be able to support the efforts of a young and enthusiastic work force while maintaining the necessary institutional controls to insure the highest quality output of data while consistently creating exceptional client experiences. * 2-4 years of Analytical Chemistry (HPLC, GC, wet chemistry, ICP a plus) * Experience in a FDA/ cGMP regulated environment is preferred. * Experience supervising or leading people and operations in an Analytical environment is required. * Previous experience in the consumer products, pharmaceuticals, personal care, and/or food and beverage industries is preferred. * Exceptional problem solving and conceptual thinking. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to summarize and prioritize highly complex projects and activities.
