Our confidential client, a leading Laboratory Testing Company in the Cannabis Industry, is seeking a Analytical Chemist for their Bay Area facility.

The Analytical Chemist will work closely with Lab Manager/Director to execute sample analysis for their cannabis clients.

This position must work under current quality system, and is responsible for all work performed in support of their assigned assay.

Job Duties and


  • Routine analysis of samples using analytical procedures for which training has occurred.

  • Participate in OOS & CAPA reports, as assigned.

  • Must be able to obtain traceable, reproducible, and reliable results with limited supervision.

  • Routine and non-routine equipment maintenance of analytical instruments.

  • Successful completion of proficiency testing samples and initial demonstration of capability to demonstrate competence as required for certifications or customer requests.

  • Participate in the revision of existing procedures and the drafting of new procedures under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager.

Preferred Skills and


  • B.S degree with at least two years of analytical laboratory experience, or greater.

  • Experience with analytical techniques including, but not limited to: HPLC, GCMS, LCMS, & ICMPS

  • Proficient in Microsoft office

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Hands on experience with in organic extraction, analytical chemistry techniques, and product development

  • ISO 17025 experience

Salary: $55,000 - 65,000 Plus benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop Westfield San Francisco Centre's annual MarketingAction Plan, with support from the national marketing team, including localexecution of national programs, local programs and center positioning in themarket * Responsible forimplementation of the annual Marketing Action Plan to meet marketing goals andKPIs, in collaboration with center's marketing team member(s), Shopping CenterManager and asset team * Create andimplement the development marketing plan inclusive of all phases of centerdevelopment, in collaboration with corporate marketing team, development andasset team * Work with thecorporate marketing team in the development of the launch strategy for thedevelopment to include, but not be limited to, creative development, mediaplanning, community engagement, public relations, leasing launch and centeropening * Responsible forcenter's annual marketing budget and development marketing budget includingbudget tracking and management * Develop andmanage local media relations plans in collaboration with nationalCommunications/PR team, inclusive of local public relations support formarketing campaigns, regional programs, new store openings and crisis management * Lead and managecenter marketing team member(s) * Collaborate with Westfield San Francisco Centre's Vice President, Operating Management, Development,Leasing, Brand Ventures and other property and asset staff, to ensure totalasset value creation and ongoing alignment * Collaborate withthe VP Center Marketing and national Marketing team on national marketing,brand and content, media, PR/communications, and digital marketing programs andinitiatives that support Westfield San Francisco Centre * Develop andmanage community relations, outreach, partnerships and sponsorships for thecenter STRATEGIC & FINANCIAL * Determine market priorities and assets in orderto allocate marketing resources to the most important /key issues * Drive generation of superior customer insightsand translate into actionable, relevant plans and programs * Assist in the development and review of the center'sbusiness plans and budgets to ensure all key items are represented in line withthe center strategies * Develop and manage center's marketing budget andmeet all budget deadlines * Understand the market research needs and leadon-going requirements in consultation with corporate Analysis & Insightsteam;
