Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.

The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

The Team: Conduct Management is a centralized team within Corporate Risk. Conduct Management has enterprise-wide responsibilities to address allegations related to team member misconduct. This includes reporting on the entire allegation life cycle including case intake, triage, research and disposition of a wide variety of allegations including behavioral misconduct, theft, sales practices, fraud, money laundering, etc.

This Analytic Manager 4 will be accountable for delivering critical production and operational reporting to the Conduct Management (CM) organization and LOB Control Executive teams. This individual will collaborate in order to identify and implement key reports needed for a large cross-LOB CM organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with other leaders within CM Analytics, Insights, and Reporting teams to understand business requirements, source data for reporting, and build robust self-service operational reporting

  • Provide CM leaders with the information and reporting needed to make day-to-day business decisions, including regulatory and business SLA adherence as well as team member performance

  • Design a new, streamlined, cross-LOB CM reporting infrastructure that is optimized and reduces redundancy

  • Collaborate to identify and implement consistent KRIs/KPIs reporting across a large cross-LOB CM organization

  • Collaborate to build a desired future state operational reporting vision

  • Develop exceptions reporting that alert management of activities that may be out of compliance

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement strategies for developing and utilizing data and metrics to predict, improve, and measure the success of fundamental customer pain points resolution

  • Drive understanding in business intelligence requirements and improve the level of self-service reporting

  • Provide consulting support on data analysis and operational reporting capabilities

  • Manage geographically distributed team members

  • Build a highly effective and efficient Production reporting team

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
  • 4+ years of management experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze metrics and articulate data trends both visually and verbally

  • Experience developing operational reporting and performing complex data analysis

  • Experience in building strong teams with a culture focused on partnering across groups, customer service and focus on managing a pipeline

  • Strong negotiating skills

  • Financial services industry experience

  • A Master's degree or higher in operations research, applied statistics, economics, computer science, electrical engineering or a related field

  • A Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

  • 4+ years of Tableau experience

  • 4+ years of MicroStrategy experience

  • SQL or SAS experience

  • Teradata experience

  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in a highly restricted/sensitive data environment

The NLP Data Engineer will help the "Enterprise Analytics & Data Science - Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engineering and Delivery" team in developing highly scalable and reusable model pipeline framework so that the model delivery is streamlined and simplified. The candidate will be actively involved in model development workflow and work with other NLP data scientists to generate innovative ideas around simplification and improvisation of model deployment environment. He will be a key player in ensuring that the model pipeline is tested, evaluated/validated, and integrated with other system layers before it is promoted to production environment. He needs to be hands-on in creating data pipeline libraries using Python and/or Scala programming languages and have keen interest in understanding the data science approaches such as deep learning neural nets and Natural Language Processing techniques. Key Responsibilities: * Develop scalable and reusable model deployment framework using Python and/or Scala programming languages. * Develop data pipelines to test model and model deployment framework on Spark-based Compute environment * Create best practices and standards around model deployment framework and socialize them with the community to ensure successful delivery of the models. * Collaborate with data scientists to gain understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and model architectures and apply the techniques to the framework to make it efficient and scalable for several business cases. * Work with Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform team and other Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) team to provision data computing environment to evaluate/validate various approaches for integrating model pipeline with application systems before it is released to production.
