The Supply Chain Management Deal Analytics team within Wells Fargo has an exciting opportunity for a finance analytics professional to join our team. This position supports third-party supplier negotiations and requires a combination of advanced financial modeling skills, strategic thinking, insightful evaluation, and the ability to effectively communicate financial data to non-financial business leaders. The position can be located in Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN.

This position allows exposure to a diverse set of businesses, commodities, and problem solving opportunities. In this role, you will be working directly with Supply Chain Management negotiators, business partners, and line of business finance colleagues to construct complex financial models, perform both detailed & high-level analysis, and evaluate financial impacts and benefits of executed agreements.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Superior project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently

  • Ability to create complex spreadsheet based financial models

  • Knowledge and understanding of relational databases: SQL

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

  • Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications

  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Exposure to contract language and pricing models
