The Acquisition & Content team within Global Marketing Operations (GMO) is seeking an Analyst to execute critical operational responsibilities and support key strategic initiatives within the Acquisition Tracking System (ATS) platform. ATS is a marketing platform responsible for the creation of acquisition tracking codes across 22 Global markets.
Organizationally, the broader GMO team ensures that marketing campaigns and the technology platforms used to execute these campaigns are efficient, compliant, and error-free for all American Express business units and channels. As part of Enterprise Digital & Analytics, the organization achieves these goals using a combination of technology solutions, training, controls, and process governance. Within GMO, the Campaign Capabilities team serves as the Product Owners of the software platforms leveraged to execute campaigns. As the business owners and subject matter experts of these platforms, the responsibilities of the team are to define and implement strategic technology solutions, train users on how to leverage them at scale, support business-as-usual campaign execution, and research and resolve production issues.
The Analyst will:
Work closely with the Managers on the team to create and execute on long-term strategic Roadmap
Partner closely with Consumer, Small Business, and AET to push forward strategic projects
Participate in all team scrum ceremonies, pre and post-install testing, and other processes per Agile methodology
Work with Manager to maintain and prioritize Product backlog
Training and user set up of various platforms
Coordinate with Business partners and Technology teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Ongoing publication of weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
Maintain project documentation and Confluence site
Familiarity with Agile methodology including use of Rally
Excellent organizational and project management skills (attention to detail, handling and prioritization multiple priorities, managing tight timelines) are critical
Experience managing technologies/capabilities development preferred
Experiencing working in a cross-matrix organization with many internal stakeholders
Self-starter, naturally curious, and able to connect dots to understand how their work fits into the broader organization
Ability to translate technical terminology to business partners and business requirements to technology partners
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience required
