Analyst-HVAC & Refrigeration

POSITION PURPOSE: Support store monitoring program in leveraging high level technical expertise in supermarket HVAC / Refrigeration systems and building energy management systems (currently Danfoss, Emerson and Com-Trol systems). Program will ensure consistent and effective daily operations of systems and communicate actual and potential facility performance issues. Daily collaboration with Division Facility group and 3rd party monitoring vendor of potential performance issues. Assist in maintaining and developing systems, programs and procedures for monitoring processes - including coordination of developing, building, and maintaining IT solutions. Organize monitoring functions and procedures for password lockdown with administration teams. Collect, analyze and present appropriate program data to help improve performance and quality.
Monitors workflows and optimize daily monitoring procedures.
Responsible for maintaining relationship and associated functions related to energy management and commissioning for all Division locations.
Acts proactively and reactively in management of conflicts / team performance issues.
Tracks, responds and escalates effectively all workforce management issues.
Creates, publishes and delivers reports and scorecards accurately and within designated timeframes.
Analyzes HVAC/R problems, develop a plan and manage the execution of the plan.
Analyzes trends and recommends realistic options/solutions to business partners based on HVAC/R industry knowledge.
Recommends/initiates actions to ensure optimum service levels.
Improves facility and operating conditions in the ACI banners while reducing ACI retail repair and maintenance expense to meet company goals.
Drives reduction in energy and utility usage in mechanical systems at retail sites
Improves the Facilities and Energy Management team with a combination of facility and system upgrades to increase the performance, professionalism and value.

Proactively work with facility teams to keep hardware in stores functional to allow for real time energy monitoring.
Develops and recommends process improvements.

Relevant Experience, Education, Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Relevant knowledge in the Refrigeration and HVAC industry
Thorough understanding of the refrigeration cycle and basic operation of refrigeration, and HVAC equipment as required.
Experience installing, servicing and maintaining supermarket refrigeration & HVAC systems preferred.
Contact Center, Customer Service, Grocery Industry, Facilities Management, experience is desired.
Proficient in ability to analyze problems, develop a plan and manage the execution of the plan.
Exceptional Customer Service and Problem Resolution skills.
Exceptional communication skills of all types.
EMS (Energy Management System) programming, operating & repair skills.
Experience in problem resolution and corrective actions development.
Strong data analysis skills
Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
Strong computer skills.
Understanding of building control systems and lighting controls is required.
Ability to prioritize workload and work between several projects/tasks
Excellent communications skills and an affinity for working with people

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Avaya/CMS reporting systems and Maximo.

Position is located in Boise ID
Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
Limited travel might be required.
Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.
Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
Climbing may be required.
