Assists the Credit Manager in managing credit lines that American Honda Motors, Inc. (AHM) provides to PE dealers and distributors that facilitates their purchase of wholesale inventory from AHM
Review MC Dealer candidate packages to comply with their capitalization requirements
General risk analysis on other Dealerships with poor sales and payment performances
Utilize our new Risk/Calculator tool to determine the EDF on PE and MC dealerships
Provide sufficient credit lines along with limiting our AR exposure
Work with Manager as needed on technical projects that involves "potential" valuation of Dealerships, industry studies with PE segments to determine the appropriate ratio analysis etc.
Work with PE Division (Alpharetta, GA) credit and sales groups to understand the business impacts and how that may affect Dealer's credit
Ability to travel to the site and tele-conferencing when sales or credit meetings occur
Handle any system issues that may arise from SAP MC/PE Sales or Mainframe perspective
Communicate with iN personnel when payment system encounters any errors
Access the SAP ERP system to monitor & report on AHM's AR portfolio of accounts
Use Microsoft software products to prepare financial analysis, compose business correspondence & prepare PowerPoint presentations
Bachelor's Degree in a finance-related area or equivalent work experience
10 -15 years of experience in business related area
Minimum of 10 years experience in a credit & collections function
Knowledge of finance and accounting principles to determine feasibility studies
Ability to effectively work with AHM dealers and members of the various Sales division in an efficient and professional manner to administer the credit & collection function which maintaining an acceptable level of dealership satisfaction.
Ability to use SAP software to access and monitor financial data
Ability to use Microsoft applications to complete financial analysis, prepare business correspondences and prepare PowerPoint presentations
