In this capacity the expectation of the position is to help in the support of existing business processes and when required the identification, analysis, definition, and testing of new and expanded functionality, corrective action(s) to existing processes, and the refinement of processes and procedures to achieve performance improvements. The analyst considers processes that span multiple work groups within major sections of the division with the ability to work between high level overviews down to detailed work-level tasks and steps, while maintaining an understanding of how the processes, applications systems, hard and soft tools, and people involved contribute to the DSD's purpose and objectives.


  • 40% - Ensures that the application systems and business processes meet the user community's and division's needs by participating in teams reviewing and/or developing requirements and specifications while maintaining and testing their assigned products; travel to assigned locations to install, train and implement systems under supervision and direction of senior analyst.
  • 20% - Provide product troubleshooting and analysis for problem determination including solution recommendations.
  • 20% - Assist in the design and development of product enhancements including the testing and implementation of process solutions.
  • 10% - Special projects and research assigned by division management that requires product data base queries and data compilation and analysis for selected small work groups; work one on one to resolve issues unique to that individual group.
  • 10% - Provide basic training instruction to systems users as developed by team management; write procedures for less complex issues for users manual.


A bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related field, with four years of production of related professional experience is required. Production/Professional experience should include supply chain or material "logistics" handling, business and systems analysis, process design and a thorough understanding of general desktop computing, including database and spreadsheet functionality. The analyst should exhibit such talents as focus, discipline, responsibility, and an inclination towards performance orientation. Experience dealing with abstract concept reasoning, problem solving techniques, statistic compilation experience, and presentation skills is expected.

Worthiness Qualification

Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.

Job Title: Senior Business Analyst Summary: This position has three major areas to focus on, analysis, budgeting & forecast. The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial, business and operational analysis to the Business Unit management team to facilitate understanding of the center performances and assess to gain clear understanding to the Business Unit, this analysis will include the Key Performance Indicators. Also, this position will lead the planning and forecasting process including the annual budget/strategic planning related to plasma volume, Business Unit headcounts and Business Unit expenses which includes cost per liter and support departments. Finally, the position will contribute to develop plans for the immediate, intermediate and will coordinate with the Holding management team the long range plan for the Business Unit to achieve growth plans. Primary responsibilities for role: ● Leads the Budget & Forecasting Process for Business Unit: Plasma collections, Donor Commitment Compensation, Business Headcount, Cost Per Liter and Support Departments expenses. ● Manages financial and operational reporting of the Business Unit. ● Provide financial, business and operational anaylsis to the Busines Units. ● Provide training on Financial and Operational concepts to Business Units employees including Center employees ● Provide tools to Directors of Operations of the Business Unit for production planning. The Sr. Financial Analyst is fully conversant in all aspects of the Manager of Financial Analyses functions. Evaluation of performance to the profit plan and forecast is the most important aspect of the incumbent's position. The incumbent must possess a thorough knowledge of each operating function, including cost accounting, general accounting, profit planning, standardcosting, new product feasibility, and international markets. He/she must also anticipate risks and opportunities of a financial nature for the group, and suggest appropriate action. He/she is required to communicate in an effective manner with financial and non-financial personnel at all levels. Internal contacts include the President and the Management team of the Business Unit. External contacts include Holding Director, Planning and control and also the Director of Corporate Planning Operations at the Holding level. In depth knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry and a thorough understanding of the inter-relationship of all echelons within the group and the division in order to render sound financial recommendations is essential. Requirements: Education: Requires a B.S. or a B.B.A. degree, with a major in accounting or equivalent with a minimum of five years of well rounded financial background. The Sr. Business Analyst should possess an M.B.A. or other similar advanced degree. Experience: Typically requires 5 years of related experience. Equivalency: Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements.
