Analyst - Quality Assurance

Description: This exciting opportunity is part of the Quality Assurance team within first line Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) of Global Supply Management and will report to the Manager, Quality Assurance.

The Analyst, Quality Assurance will provide support to the Manager and Director of Quality Assurance in executing the validation program across the third-party lifecycle (pre- and post- contract) for Third Parties to assess the effectiveness and consistency of program execution.


Supporting the day-to-day execution of the Quality Assurance, including:

  • Assisting in planning of the Quality Assurance;

  • Leveraging key documentation and systems to perform testing;

  • Day-to-day execution of the test scripts;

  • Escalating any potential gaps to the testing team;

  • Ensuring all test scripts, work papers and reports are completed according to TLM quality assurance standards and timelines;

  • Assisting in validating closure of action plans resulting from quality assurance;

  • Performing special projects, compile data and prepare reports;

  • Maintaining necessary documentation, records and files to assure efficient and consistent reporting of quality assurance efforts; and

  • Performing quality control reviews of completed work papers.

  • Following up on action items with action plan owners.

  • Identify leading practices and drive improvements to the methodologies/processes.

  • Fulfill requests for testing workpapers from the regulators, the internal audit group or other control groups

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of work experience.

  • Minimum Experience Requirement: 2+ years of experience.

  • Possess the ability to quickly gain an understanding of Third-Party systems and processes

  • Successful candidates must also possess the following soft skills:

  • Familiarity with Third party operations and processes.

  • Familiarity with regulations related to third party risk management.

  • Ability to multi-task effortlessly and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines.

  • Ability to analyze data and identify potential compliance or operational issues, potential root causes, and feasible operational solutions.

  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a matrix environment and on cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • Organized, dependable, and adaptable.

  • Ability to translate technical information into easily understandable terms.

Quality Assurance Specialist Pay and Benefits: * Hourly pay: $28/hr * Worksite: Leading consumer products company (Sunrise, FL 33323) * W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Quality Assurance Specialist Responsibilities: * Conduct day-to-day quality documentation processing in support of ongoing operations. * Approve specifications including but not limited to raw materials, components, dietary Ingredients, finished product, labels, SOP's, testing procedures, and deviations. * Approve documentation for supplier management process (e.g.; approval to use, qualified to accept Certificate of Analysis (CoA), etc.). Approve documentation for ensuring dietary supplements meet identity, strength, purity, and composition specifications. Determine if specifications are met. * Manage and review changes to documents, equipment, and facilities. Work closely with internal 2nd and 3rd party audits and preparation. * Act as the defined Preventive Controls Qualified Investigator (PCQI). Manage the CAPA system and customer complaints. * Participate in validation/qualification program (process, equipment, method). Conduct training on Quality topics. * Setup, implement, and administer quality documentation software such as Master Control, Intelex, etc., and also Quality metrics. Quality Assurance Specialist Qualifications: * 6 years of experience in the Food and/or Dietary Supplement product manufacturing environment. * 3 years related work experience within Quality Assurance or within a Regulated Business. * College degree from an accredited institution in Natural Sciences, Engineering and Physical Sciences or equivalent. (preferred) * Knowledge of cGMP and FDA regulations in Food and Dietary Supplement products. * Experience with quality investigations. Working knowledge of quality systems. * FSMA certifications preferred - Certified PCQI practitioner and FSVP qualified individual through FSPCA accredited courses.
