Command Center Lead

Sr. Command Center Analyst with a talent for technical expertise and dedication. Expert in a variety of scheduling applications such as CA7 and Control-M. Possesses in-depth understanding of mainframe and open systems environments. Communicative and team-oriented with a proficiency in a variety of tools and software to help run the business. Proven history of fostering relations between teams across IT/ISD to meet team, individual, and management objectives.

• Daily monitors the health of all mainframe sysplexes/environments and the processes running on each such as batch jobs and assorted tasks via scheduling tools such as CA7 and Control-M
• Monitors and manipulates batch flows running in CA7/Control-M to meet company established SLA's and avoid business impact.
• Extensive experience with both the DB2 and IMS database environments; monitoring the health of both on a daily basis and correcting any issues that appear; using both to identify and troubleshoot batch job failures; collaborate with DBAs to install and validate changes to both environments.
• Identifies operational and performance issues and works with managers and/or infrastructure teams to resolve concerns.
• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Salary Range- $70,000-$110,000 a year
