Wynn Resorts is the recipient of more Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Awards than any other independent hotel company in the world. Wynn Las Vegas opened on April 28, 2005 and was once again named the best resort in Nevada on Cond Nast Traveler's 2018 "Gold List," a title received for the tenth time. Wynn and Encore Las Vegas feature two luxury hotel towers with a total of 4,750 spacious hotel rooms, suites and villas, approximately 192,000 square feet of casino space, 21 dining experiences featuring signature chefs and 11 bars, two award-winning spas, approximately 290,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, approximately 103,000 square feet of retail space as well as three nightclubs, a beach club and recreation and leisure facilities. In addition to two luxury retail esplanades, a Strip-front expansion, Wynn Plaza, is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2018.

The IT Ops, Engineering & Support department or "IT" for short is responsible for possessing a detailed understanding of operations, architectural design and infrastructure and communicating the benefits of digitization of business to our function leaders.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for supporting the end users of business applications utilizing technical and vendor management skills that allow them to support application fixes, provide application user administration, and resolve application system outages.

  • Responsible for facilitating application enhancement projects, under general supervision of a Project Manager.

  • Responsible for coordinating and managing deliverables for users including; working with the user to identify business requirements, writing functional specifications, developing timelines for project deliveries, participating in application testing and quality assurance, and managing project tasks and resources to completion.

Job Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus preferred; technology certifications a plus.

  • Requires (2) two to (4) four years progressive broad-based information systems and business experience; highly desirable to have experience in software support involving troubleshooting and testing of applications; ideally, two or more years in customer service.

  • Requires (1) one or more years of business-unit experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving. Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.

The HCMS (Human Capital Management Systems) Production Support Analyst II will be a key partner with MGM Resorts International's HR Leadership team in providing process and systems (Workday and other HR systems) support to HR functions. The HCMS Production Support Analyst II is responsible for driving HR process improvements through system setup and maintenance enhancement projects within Workday and other HR systems. The HCMS Production Support Analyst II will partner with other HR business units, Payroll, IT, and vendors to implement changes and enhancements that ensure employee data integrity, and to develop processes that optimize the capabilities of the systems. * Evaluate data within Workday and other HR systems to identify systemic data error patterns, and researches potential solutions, both technological and business process based. * Research solutions, determine which solution to use and modify solution for specific organizational needs. * Meet with business stakeholders to understand their request and ensure a solution is implemented that meets their needs. * Lead projects which includes setting project timelines, communication with the business and change management. * Monitor vendor progress on requests, hold regular checkpoint meetings and escalate issues as necessary. * Monitor the persistent governance model for creation and modification of foundational organizational and data structures in Workday and other HR systems and recommend potential improvements and enhancements as needed. * Monitor the persistent governance model for creation and modification of the foundational control files in Workday and other HR systems that support seamless integration between the HRIS and downstream systems, such as Payroll and Time Tracking, and recommend potential improvements and enhancements as needed. * Lead the execution of all facets of user acceptance testing, from unit testing to regression testing including writing test scripts, for both ongoing projects and major Workday releases. * Provide background context regarding day to day business operations and transactions to Solutions Analysts to support effective kick offs of enhancement projects, along with recommendations for project direction. * Collaborate with HCMS Solutions Analyst team to inject enhancement and project ideas into HCMS roadmap based on feedback from functional areas. * Serve as primary Production Support SME in all HCMS projects, with ability to articulate all Production Support dependencies on other areas and system functions. * Collaborate with HCMS Solutions Analysts to gather background information and context from functional areas to support kickoff of HCMS projects. * Create and maintain overall governance regarding configurable security structure in Workday, such as criteria for security group creation and process for security group assignment to users. * Collaborate with all HR COE's to create mass data uploads for worker transactions, such as compensation changes and requisition creation, and for mass organizational structure changes, based on their own in-depth understanding of the EIB functionality in the Workday HRIS. * Manage integrity and accuracy of HR Systems, while serving as HCMS expert in support of HR business processes and data integration. * Maintain ongoing knowledge of HR system releases and changes. Partner with Release Manager to determine the effect of releases and changes to current or future use. * Maintain partnership with HR COE's, HR Business Partners, Information Technology, and Vendors to maximize all systems supporting all HR initiatives. * Perform other job-related duties as requested. Required: * Bachelor Degree or equivalent education and work experience. * At least 3 years of Human Resources Operations end-user experience (e.g. Employment, Compensation, Labor Relations) with a Human Capital Management (HCM) system such as Workday. * Experience related to implementation of HR applications. * Expert level experience in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, including knowledge of formulas and pivot tables.
