Job Title: Analyst - Supply Chain (RDC)

Department: Supply Chain

Business Unit: Operations

Reports To: RDC Senior Supply Chain Manager

Supervisory Role: No

FLSA Status: Nonexempt

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst ensures the supply of goods to the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) and aims to achieve maximum availability and minimum stock holding.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure an optimal flow of goods to the RDC achieving maximum availability and minimum stock holding

  • Order goods for the RDC

  • Review goods in lists of deviations

  • Analyze operating figures

  • Monitor deadlines and quantities by suppliers

  • Process missing items lists

  • Train or guide the work of other team members on occasion

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to identify an dresolve problems

  • Ability to analyze data and spot trends

Required Education, Certifications / Licenses, Related Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1 2 years of experience in related field required

Physical Job Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary (standing and/or seated)all of the time

  • The person in this position may need to move about the store(s), distribution center(s), warehouse(s), and/or corporate office(s) less than half the time

  • The person in this position must be able to maneuver (lift, move, carry, slide, etc.) less than 15 lbs.

  • This position operates machinery and/or equipment that requires the constant use of hands/fingers/wrists (ex: typing, operating the Point of Sale system, etc.) more than half the time

  • This position requires the ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: A C&S (Communications & Signals) Helper assists signal maintainers in the repair, maintenance and construction of signal equipment such as wayside signals, crossing equipment and electric switch machines. This work involves digging, trenching, painting, wiring and cabling at both inside and outside locations and being a watchman when required. The C&S Helper also operates company vehicles in the performance of their duties as required. Applicants must be able and willing to understand and apply safety rules, practice safe work habits, identify safety risks and avoid potentially risky behaviors and situations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Applicants must have a valid driver's license on the date of hire * Must be able to perform heavy physical labor * Must be able to read and understand job information written in English * Applicants must be able to perform basic mathematical computations including fractions and decimals * Ability to pass required training with written exams including two weeks of safety training and required department training modules over a 10-month period to progress to qualified maintainer.
