This position will be covering both North & South campuses (Butler/Westmoreland Counties)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM. Days and hours are subject to change.
Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting the data analysis needs of the Procurement Department by accurately collecting and summarizing the data from various sources; GPO Spend Analytics Software, Independence Business System(s) and other data sources as appropriate. Provides reports to support cost savings initiatives. Supports the Purchasing Contract Managers in devising the Supply Chain improvement plan. Assists with the investigation for cost reduction opportunity.

Reporting
Prepare and distribute periodic reports on a timely basis, including but not limited to, responsibility, statistical, summary financial, accounts payable and usage reports including reports related to the annual budget process including, but not limited to, capital, non-labor operating, FTE, status of recall responses and other summary reports as well as various financial analysis reports.
Distribute in a timely and effective manner the cost reports and related reports.

Responds to the Purchasing Agents requests for cost analysis.
Completes request within requested time frame.
Communicates time constraints if present.
Identifies to Purchasing Agent any unexpected problems.
Performs accurate collection of data.
Runs accurate queries from INFOR Materials Management System and other data sources as appropriate.
Assures the information is sequenced and formatted as requested.
Ensures accuracy of data by auditing portions of the data, by comparing information from INFOR/Spend Advisor/Vendor Reports and other data sources.
Maintenance of item master data and associated changes within INFOR System.
Provides summarized findings.
Reports to be logical, visually pleasing and an aide to the decision-making process.
Uses intuition and experience to complement reports.
Verbally presents reports when necessary.
Supports the Purchasing Agents.
Provides timely responses and recommends changes to the requests.
Reacts well and adjusts quickly to changes, delays, priorities and unexpected events.

Keeps Purchasing Agents accurately informed of progress.
Reports new information and helps resolve any issues.

Coordinates demonstrations, installations and in-services for new product introduction.

Communicates with BME/Director/Purchasing Agent/Distribution/ and Other user Departments to identify recall status and the associated response.
Provides assistance with the capital budget request process.
Provides timely budgetary pricing for department managers.
Coordinates equipment requests with BME.
Contributes to the development of technical specifications.
Researches by using online recall/equipment management software for ratings etc.
Marginal Functions: Defined as duties that are not essential in nature and do not take a considerable amount of time to complete (less than 10%).
