Analyst, Strategy

Responsible for creating financial and operational models for analytical purposes and data/results presentation. Responsible for managing and organizing large amounts of complex data in Excel sourced from various systems for preparation of analytical and insightful interpretation.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Create financial and operational models in Excel for analytical purposes

• Sources large amounts of complex data from various systems

• Interprets financial and operational data and trends; volume, sales, expenses, and margins

• Delivers insightful recommendations of data analyzed

• Prepares presentations in PowerPoint; deliverables of analysis and recommendations

• Creates reports from sourced data from various systems

• Uses business intelligence platform to generate reports and deliver insightful data for internal customers

• Maintains a depository of deliverables; documents analytical findings and recommendations

• Reads publications and attends seminars on industry trends to aid in keeping relevant

• Communicates effectively with company stakeholders

• Required to travel to conferences, seminars and client locations

• Accomplishes department and organization goals by completing other tasks as needed

Minimum Educational and Experience Qualifications/Requirements:

• 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent

• 2- 5 years of applicable business experience in planning, forecasting, or analytical work.

• Ability to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percent's and/or ratios.

• Possesses knowledge using business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.

• Possesses proficient skills in MS Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; Report writing a plus;

• Ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships.

• Ability to work long and flexible hours to meet project deadlines.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work environments, management styles and business trends.

• Ability to acquire and apply new knowledge or skills for work and recognize own strengths and weaknesses

• Ability to be detail oriented; work in a fast-paced environment with high ability to multitask.

• Ability to acquire and apply new knowledge or skills for work and recognize own strengths and weaknesses.

• Possesses a reasonable degree of business acumen knowledge, including manufacturing and distribution.

• Ability to develop connectivity with individuals across our supply chain and play a key role by gathering and analyzing intelligence from internal/external customers and industry with the goal of enhancing the value creation of the Strategy department.
