Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst for CPD Fleet Operations is responsible for ensuring the smooth, profitable management of all aspects of CPD Production Print & Finishing Equipment within ODP's Regional Production Centers (RPC) and or Retail Locations.; This individual is responsible for: organizing all fleet information, conducting ongoing and periodic utilization and profitability analyses, maintaining all communications surrounding these assets, managing vendor service level agreements (SLAs), and maintaining market intelligence on both current and competitive equipment.; In addition, this position works closely with the Fleet Coordinator, Fleet Deployment Specialist, and Systems Engineers to ensure smooth operation of all production and finishing equipment in Office Depot's North American Retail Stores and Regional Production Centers.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and minimum 4 years experience in related field.

Form strong working knowledge and partnership with operating areas to deliver financial analysis and insights that help us assess business performance, understand key drivers and their impacts. Develop and/or enhance budgeting, forecasting and metric-based modeling and processes in conjunction with Finance Director. Participate cross functionally with operating areas to develop and support analyses of trends, measuring impact of current initiatives and projecting future impact of new initiatives. Collaborate with Operations in doing deep-dive analytic reviews of overall results and results-by-segment to uncover underlying drivers/trends, and help spot risks and Measure impact of current initiatives and projecting future impact of new initiatives. Summary of Responsibilities * Assist Finance Director and FP&A Team in preparing monthly and quarterly business reviews and analysis packages that compare actual results to budget, forecast and prior * Prepare financial reporting and analyses that help us assess business performance trends, understand key drivers and the impact of those drivers. * Analysis scope encompasses components such as profitability, loss ratios, claim frequency and cost trends, segmentation analysis (results by: channel, product, trade, service provider groups, etc). * Partner with finance and operational management in all of the above areas. * Build and/or enhance financial and operational dashboards to improve focus on and visibility of those key drivers and metrics. Support development of other tools to help manage the business. * Support Finance Director in managing the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets and 3 year plans. * In conjunction with Finance Director, work together with operational management and analysts to achieve efficient & effective collaboration and alignment on core analytics/dashboards. * Assist in the preparation of Board of Advisor documents and exhibits * Provide ad hoc analysis support to Finance Leadership team and others as * Contribute to streamlining efficiency across the department by automating and/or eliminating reporting as the business needs. * Document standard operating. Education/Experience * Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required, MBA is preferred. * Minimum: 3-4 years accounting/finance experience. Experience in following industries a plus: Services / Insurance / Call Center. Technical Skills/Experience * Advanced Excel Skills (vLookups, hLookups, sumifs, macros) are required. * End-user experience with Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Planning (or equivalent), as well as Oracle BI and writing SQL queries, are all big pluses. * End-user experience with financial reporting & visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBIis a big plus.
