POSITION SUMMARY: Supports the monthly close cycle through analysis and reporting, creates and implements standard reporting, prepares ad hoc analysis when necessary, and supports Asset expansion or acquisition as a key Finance resource with little managerial oversight.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Curiosity and Desire to develop an understanding of the lime and minerals business
Desire to learn operations and commercial aspects of the industry
Willingness to get "hands-on" at production sites
Ability to Create and Modify Financial Models
Profitability analysis of new business, revenue improvement, and cost saving opportunities
Prepare various Ad hoc financial and / or complex business analysis
Review and interpretation of Trend Analysis
Ability to Perform Special Projects
Ad hoc analysis construction and presentation New Business Development modeling and support where required
Project analysis, review, and recommendation
Ability to Prepare and Communicate Budgeting, Forecasting and Analytical Activities
Preparation and distribution of input templates for Regional Sales and Operational Cost budgets and forecasts
Regional Variance Analysis and Explanation
Prepare and Submit Regional Financial Reporting Packages
Financial Statement Review and Reporting
Prepare Month-end Reporting Package and drive additional methods of tracking performance
Perform Regional Sales Analysis as well as detailed customer profitability where required
Research and Prepare Variance Analysis and Explanation
Roll-forward and itemized walk-forward analysis
Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience with analyzing P&L statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements
Experience performing financial planning and analysis
Experienced in analyzing and interpreting complex data, including modeling
Intellectual curiosity and willingness to explore and learn
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and handle large amounts of data both operational and financial in a multi-user platform
Ability to work independently with limited direction and/or supervision.
Strong sense of urgency in meeting customer needs.
Forward looking action-oriented team player that works well with cross functional groups
Familiarity with average costing and standard cost systems, inventory control procedures, and automated inventory control systems.
Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (i.e. V-Look Ups and Pivot Tables), Word, Outlook and PowerPoint software. Previous SAP knowledge is a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Must be physically able to perform work assigned.
Must be physically capable of accessing all plant, terminal, and office locations as needed.
Tolerate working outside in weather conditions as well as exposure to industrial high temperature, noise and dust.
Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.
Will be working in an office, mining, and lime processing environment.
The employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Metallic Particles.
The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to travel up to 10% as needed or directed by leadership
