Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work in the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis group. The role will be focused on producing financial and analytical reports and presentations for CIT's consolidated business, as well as related business Segments; Commercial Banking and Consumer Banking.Some responsibilities include the following: Prepare and review monthly and quarterly outlook and business review packages for the executive management committee and board of directors Act as the consolidation lead with the business unit FP&A teams analyzing forecast trends and key performance indicators covering the balance sheet and income statements Assist in the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, and Modeling tools Provide support and suggestions for more effective analysis and reporting for the senior leadership team Effectively interact with cross functional teams and senior management Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required 1-2 years of experience Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines Independent critical thinking with well-developed analytical abilities Strong communication, organizational, collaborative and leadership skills Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, team-oriented environment Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products. Hyperion / Essbase is a plus
