The Securities Information Center (SIC) maintains the Lost and Stolen Securities Program (LSSP) on behalf of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). SIC is looking for a candidate to support day-to-day operation of the LSSP system including data feeds, vulnerability remediation, change execution and verification, support escalations, and assisting Quality Assurance with testing. The candidate will work closely with internal teams to maintain a stable, secure operating environment to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Boston, MA or St. Louis, MO
Key responsibilities:
Work with external clients and internal teams to resolve client connectivity and data feed issues
Provide product support to Client Services teams when questions arise related to product functionality, system access, or data
Aid quality assurance efforts by testing new functionality, changes to systems or third-party applications, or newly implemented security controls
Log application flaws in the defect tracking system; report findings to DevOps teams
Monitor system alerts, participate in resolution efforts, and close tickets timely
Participate in semi-annual business continuity exercises
Submit and execute change requests to apply upgrade software, patch systems, promote code, and create new data feeds
Provide on-call support, on a monthly rotation, with other members of the SIC team
Participate in major system or data center managed changes on weekends, when needed
Technical / job function knowledge:
Understanding of file transfer concepts, hosted applications, databases, web applications, core data center service, and Cloud services
Prior experience with supporting production applications and users
Experience with SQL Server, Windows servers, IIS, and ServiceNow
Experience with coding Microsoft .NET programming languages
Financial Services industry experience is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Personal skills and capabilities:
Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and time management are a must
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; prioritization of work is required
Ability to document and document technical controls in simple terms
Self-starter who is eager to learn new concepts
Adaptable to a changing environment with new challenges each day
US Citizenship is required; must be willing to complete SEC mandated training and background checks
Bachelor's Degree
