As an Analyst, this individual is responsible to ensure REG's compliance with national, regional, and international regulatory record keeping and reporting requirements while adhering to federal, state, local, and international laws. This position is responsible for compliance, research, registration, and advising interested parties throughout the organization in regard to the aforementioned regulatory requirements. This position is also involved beyond the Compliance Department with the Legal Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Environmental Compliance and Services, Tax, Accounting, Sales, Procurement, and Operations Control Teams.

The position is responsible for and assists record keeping and reporting requirements for renewable fuel programs offered by various states. This position will assist with daily/quarterly/annual reporting files, inventory management related to advanced biofuels & compliance credits, company policies and procedures regarding the management and reconciliation of compliance credit inventory.


  • Prepare daily/quarterly/annual reporting files to submit to appropriate reporting website

  • Track and process inbound advanced biofuel purchases related to compliance credits

  • Prepare month end files for compliance credit revenue/costs for Accounting

Support Functions

  • Assist Invoicing with reverse/rebill decisions and processing

  • Provide excellent customer service to resolve questions or transaction issues

  • Assist Sales with compliance credit contracts, transfers, etc.

  • Support Commodities and Risk Management with Daily Position Report

  • Assist with internal and external audits and assessments confirming accuracy of records

Compliance Research and Regulatory Advising

  • Communicating with sales and procurement teams, fielding regulatory and compliance questions related to supply chain management activities

  • Analyze regulatory and compliance consequences of planned sales

  • Research questions, describe regulatory and compliance consequences of planned activity, and communication to impacted parties and leadership

  • Running reports and collecting data needed for compliance and regulatory filings

  • Organize, document, track regulatory registrations

  • Prepare and file regulatory compliance filings

Perform other duties as assigned

Education Required: 4-year bachelor's degree Accounting, Public Administration, Political Science, or Business degree preferred

Experience Required: 1-3 years

Skills Required:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

The Credit Analyst works closely with the Credit Manager regarding Accounts Receivable and collection activities. This position reports to the Financial Controller. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Review daily cash activity, processing customer payments and resolution of issues involving these transactions. * Document issues surrounding invoices/projects and distribute via various means of communication. * Monitor customer behavior and reactions related to dunning and dispute management. * Negotiate with customers regarding payment plans for special projects (e.g. orders > $1.0M) * Analyze and troubleshoot credit situations for dealers and work towards fair and reasonable solutions while maintaining the integrity and interest * Participate in credit meetings with local management as well as corporate treasury, identifying and reporting information regarding accounts with at-risk factors (past due accounts, sold out of trust equipment, etc.) Monitors progress and follow up of the dispute process. * Work in coordination with the Credit Manager in collection activities, working collaboratively to ensure collection activities are well assessed, communicated, and addressed in a timely manner. * Work collaboratively with other members of the Finance group and internal departments in various tasks/reports as required.
