Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 3-4 years of professional experience preferably in an analytical or technology-related field

  • Mastery of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word) and database management

  • Basic business knowledge, knowledge of meeting planning processes or event technology

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, take initiative and use sound judgment, along with a track record as a self-starter

  • Mature and confident demeanor in the face of pressure especially when working with key stakeholders

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an ambiguous and fluid environment, while understanding the importance of prioritization

  • Outstanding ability to build, maintain and manage relationships with trust including with stakeholders and suppliers

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with absolute attention to detail

  • Knowledge of Cvent a plus

Who You'll Work With

You will be based in St. Petersburg, FL as part of the Optimize Events team. Optimize Events is the function that delivers distinctive, positive and productive event experiences for the firm.

What You'll Do

You will manage a series of performance reports (e.g., metrics), ad hoc reports and special initiatives including streamlining projects.

In this role you will own the process for compiling, analyzing and generating various financial monthly (or other period) reports including event exceptions, and cost avoidance, lost opportunity, among others. You will will gather savings data from internal and external stakeholders to create quarterly savings reports and you will track data and milestones for project management. In doing so, you will coordinate the overall quality control, consistency, and integrity of all financial and non-financial event data and metrics.

You will also support the Global Head of Events to derive insights and make recommendations for future changes to reports and processes. Also, you will collaborate with events team members to streamline processes and procedures and ensure system protocols comply with firm guidelines.

You will coordinate presentation materials, agenda and documents for key events initiatives, special projects and maintain operational information, including global team rosters and the organization chart.
